Tea masterclass in Rumene Manor

We feel so blessed by all the incredible collaborations coming our way lately. We was invited to Rumene manor by Signe Vanaga to host a tea masterclass which was part of 3 day French culinary weekend.
It’s always a two way street- we share the tea and stories, and we learn something new in the process. A huge Thanks to Gastronome Riga for precious tea selection. We chosed the best one from each category and covered the main tea producing countries. Line- up ended up just great as for those who loved lighter profiles as for those who was more into dark- side of the teas.
Our plan was simple: to cover Tea 101 and guide a tasting of 5 teas, dive into taste profiles and use tea flavour wheels. But.. as it often happens, we went down the rabbit hole.
We ended up diving into fragile territory: which teas pairs the best with snacks, the wild world of aged tea, bubble tea debates and how to navigate Yourself in an overwhelming chaos of choices… It was more than fun- provocative and in moments humbling. Exactly how we love it!
Life is not just about the big moments, it is how You spend Your weeks, Your days, Your minutes. And we would say that celebrating life- it is mandatory.
