The big Why?

Message from G(undega)- I love tea. (as a confession in an anonymous alcoholic meeting).

Maybe that's because I “ got into tea” and fell in love. Since then my life has been lived through the prism of tea.

In 2016, when I was in China, Kevin Gascoyne from Camellia Sinensis asked me- do You travel after tea? I was thinking about that a lot. Indeed.

There is so much difference when the leaf is hunted by yourself. I have made an effort to source only those teas I'm sure of.

Only those on which I can put my recommendation seal on.

Easy as that.

I am a young woman, mother of 2, managing tearooms, tea bar, tea and tea tourism booking platform, and being a board member of European Specialty tea Association.

Tea tea and tea.

Sometimes I sleep small amounts of hours only because I do feel like a bit of a superhero with a plan to save the world at least for a little bit every day.

Jongling with all the ToDos, made me think that heroG is the right character which will show You that sourcing teas is not only beautiful insta photos.

It's also sleepless nights, being away from home, tasting some bad samples which make You giggle, fighting with government structures because of certification and so much more.

Usually You are seeing visible parts of an iceberg- hummock, I will show you an invisible part- bummock as well.

Because one thing I know for sure- tea industry, on its way to a sustainable future, needs to be transparent, honest and stop pretending that everything is ok.

I Will be  happy and honored to share my journey. and, yes- TEA. You know- the hunted one.
