This is a truly original tea, the first of its kind on the market.

Created by Nie Qun Hao, this pressed oolong is produced using GABA technology on a unique blend of two classic Wuyishan cultivars: Rou Gui and Shui Xian. The processing follows the traditional Da Hong Pao oolong method (medium roast level), but with an additional, innovative step- GABA fermentation.

The result is something completely new, a tea that respects tradition while exploring fresh territory.

Why pressed into a brick?
For convenience. The brick shape makes storage easy and allows you to break off just the right amount for each brew.

Taste profile:

  • Gentle notes of chocolate and vanilla

  • Light resinous smokiness (much softer than a typical medium-roast Da Hong Pao)

  • Overall, a soft, approachable tea- what some might call a "evening oolong"

Don't expect overwhelming strength or bold intensity. This tea is quiet, balanced, and easy to enjoy. A calm companion for slow mornings and gentle evenings.
