Some teas are refreshing.
This one warms.
We just received a small batch of Osmanthus Oolong from Nantou County's Zhu Shan region, grown at 400- 500 meters, hand-picked, and rolled into tight, fragrant pearls. The base is Jin Xuan (TTES #12), known for its creamy, milky texture. But here, something else happens.
The osmanthus flowers are layered into the tea during processing, and in January 2025, the whole batch received a gentle medium roast. The result is deeply fragrant, think apricot, honey, and a subtle toasty warmth that lingers.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, osmanthus is considered Yang- warming.
It’s believed to move stagnant energy, support circulation, and bring comfort to the body's core. This isn't just a floral tea, it's a cup of gentle, internal fire.
We don’t often carry scented oolongs. But this one- quiet, golden, and honestly quite tender, earned its place.
