Full description
Qi Yun black tea from Taiwan, also known as Taiwan Tea #23, is a rare, premium red tea cultivar derived from Chinese Keemun (Qimen) tea, offering a complex, sweet, fruity, and mineral profile with honey and spicy notes, featuring golden tips from hand-harvested spring leaves. It's prized for its smooth, bright amber liquor, lasting sweet aftertaste, and unique citrusy, fruity tobacco, and plum-like flavors, setting it apart from other Taiwanese teas.
Why It's Special? A newer cultivar (officially named 2018), it's produced in small quantities. Flavor Complexity: Combines traditional Taiwanese tea characteristics with influences from its Keemun lineage, creating a unique taste.
